New Forest Wildlife Park

Originally a butterfly farm, the New Forest Wildlife Park has transformed itself into one of the leading animal attractions in Hampshire. Set in 25 acres of unspoilt woodland, the park offers the chance to get up close to deer, wolves and is home to the endangered Giant Otter. The park prides itself on its passion for conservation and encourages its visitors to share the same enthusiasm through regular talks about their work.

The Go Wild Adventure Playground will no doubt keep the little ones occupied. Surrounded by beautiful woodland, the area has a zip wire, log jumble, climbing ropes and swings to make sure the kids can let of some steam. For the younger visitors there’s a mini version of the playground equipped with sand pits, diggers and slides.

Beaulieu Motor Museum

Set in the heart of the New Forest, Beaulieu National Motor Museum has a stunning collection of over 250 vehicles. From Formula 1 racers to vintage classics, the museum captures the wonderful history of motoring. Step back in time and discover the thrilling history of motorsport with the Beaulieu Motor Museum’s latest spectacular exhibition, ‘A Chequered History’. This new event opened at the beginning of March by the legendary Sir Stirling Moss and Murray Walker and will take you back in time through two exciting displays, ‘Grand Prix Greats’ and ‘Road, Race and Rally’.

Isle of Wight

Just 6 miles off the coast of Hampshire is the Isle of Wight. This magnificent island is home to beautiful beaches, towns and attractions for all the family. Recently voted one of the ‘Top 10 Cycling Destinations in the World’ by travel magazine Lonely Planet, why not hire a bike and cycle across the island, taking in the coastal views of both Hampshire and Dorset.

You can access the Isle of Wight via Lymington and Southampton.

…and if you’re looking for things to do this Easter weekend then we have plenty going on at our New Forest Hotel.
