Mother’s Day: Celebrate ‘Fête Des Mères’ At Le Blaireau

In the heart of the New Forest, if you look closely, you’ll find a little piece of France. With its relaxed dining and authentic cuisine you may be forgiven for believing you’re the other side of the channel.

It is here, at Le Blaireau bar and bistro that you will find the most tempting Mother’s Day menu, with 3 scrumptious courses to indulge in.

Accompanied by fine wines and a vibrant and informal atmosphere, this is a unique place to visit when you really want to treat your mum on the special day.

With the ability to cater for larger groups, we can make sure the whole family has an afternoon – and meal – to remember.

From creamy homemade Leek & Potato soup with blue cheese & sesame biscuits on the side to Terrine of Confit Duck with gorgeous slow roasted shallots, there is a mouth-watering selection to choose from, and that is only a selection of the starters!

For main course, there are 4 delectable options. With slow roasted loin of pork, with sage mash and a cider jus, or pan seared organic salmon with wilted green, saffron potatoes and shellfish butter sauce you’ll be tempted by them all. That’s not even mentioning the juicy chicken with dauphinoise or delicious potato and herb gnocchi!

But it’s the puddings that are really going to make you smack your lips. From vanilla crème brulee, to dark chocolate tart, stem ginger panna cotta or a platter of fresh fruit to choose from, you’ll definitely be going home with a very full belly.
