Afternoon Tea is one of the Great British institutions and no wonder – all those delicious sandwiches, fruit-laden slices, yummy scones and melt-in-the-mouth pastries.
But it’s an institution in which many people feel they can’t indulge as it can be laden with ingredients traditionally off-limits to vegans. Until now…
We have just launched our brand new Vegan Afternoon Tea, right here in The New Forest, thanks to head chef, Alistair Craig.
Start off with a selection of open and finger sandwiches, with fillings you can trust not to compromise your values. Then tuck into a seasonal fruit slice and a golden syrup rice crispie cake. Take a break for some fruit scones and to savour the full flavour of our chocolate mousse pot. And top it all off with a decadent coconut milk truffle and, of course, tea from our premium artisan selection from Camellia’s Tea House.
You can take tea in the hotel’s sunny Cambium restaurant, in the more relaxed surroundings of our cosy lounge or, weather permitting, in our beautiful gardens. It’s the perfect treat for a friend, or to yourself, after a walk in the stunning New Forest.
Over the past six months, we have been rolling out a botanical superfood menu – with plenty of vegan options too – alongside Spring Green London.
Vegans can enjoy a selection from the Spring Green breakfast and all day menu, the perfect accompaniment to a day or evening in Careys Manor’s SenSpa. Or indulge in The Zen Garden Restaurant’s menu – a selection of authentic Thai dishes with a fresh infusion of exotic flavours.
