Wedding Trends 2015 Predictions

Posted in by on January 2, 2015 and has no comments yet

So they finally popped the question at Christmas! We’re so excited for you and what this wonderful event in your life will bring!

So what’s next? You now have a blank canvas to plan one of the most important days of your life and we’re here to help. Our wedding venue in Hampshire creates a wonderful, romantic and relaxed setting for your special day and we’re looking forward to seeing all the different styles and colours running through our weddings this year.

Here’s our 2015 wedding trend predictions to give you some ‘Pinspiration’ for your big day!

The Dress

According to many of the experts this year we will see elegant off the shoulder bridal dresses with beautiful floral, sequin and frilly detail.

The Colours

Soft blues and greys will be featured across many weddings this year. Who’d have thought grey would be a popular colour scheme? As you can tell from the images below, it’s certainly a beautiful choice! We are very pleased to see a more laid back approach to the trends this year with these softs tones.

The Theme

We are predicting the ‘English Garden Party’ theme which we’re very fond of and this can be created beautifully in The Cedar Garden. The afternoon tea trend is also growing with many exchanging the traditional three course wedding breakfast for a more relaxed, quintessentially English afternoon menu. This works particularly well for a small wedding.

Social Media

View your wedding through the eyes of your guests with a fun photo sharing technique. It’s simple, sentimental and fun to look at the morning after.
